Get to know your
whole workspace.
Follow a workflow from the first request to the final record. Try it locally with synthetic companies and different roles.
Try the APIStart your local test
- Start the Docker testing environment and open its local address (normally
http://localhost:18080). - Use a seeded account from the private demo accounts file on your computer. Northstar, Harbor and Cedar are separate test companies.
- Begin as a company owner, then sign out and try manager, finance, HR, employee and client accounts.
- Use the walkthroughs below. An unavailable module or missing role permission should produce a clear denial.
Provider-dependent features need configuration. You can test the core workflows without Google, Zoho or Stripe keys. This local environment is not exposed through a public tunnel.
Workspace and roles
- Sign in with a seeded account and open the workspace overview.
- Use “Open business system” to enter the role-specific tools.
- Switch accounts to compare owner, manager, finance, HR, employee and client navigation.
Permissions are checked on requests as well as in navigation.
Open this workflow →Company modules
- Open Modules and disable CRM.
- Confirm its navigation disappears and a saved CRM URL is denied.
- Enable CRM again and confirm the existing records remain.
Dependencies must remain enabled. Module settings preserve records.
Open this workflow →Identity and account security
- Review linked sign-in providers and account security.
- Enroll an authenticator and review recovery codes.
- Use owner access controls for company MFA and directory review.
Google and Zoho require real provider configuration. Local password sign-in works without it.
Open this workflow →CRM and client accounts
- Open a client account and inspect linked projects, offers and invoices.
- Add a follow-up and mark it complete.
- Use business CRM to inspect leads, stages, deals and activities.
Client portal access is scoped to assigned projects and offers.
Open this workflow →Proposals and agreements
- Publish a priced offer to a client.
- Sign in as that client and accept the exact version.
- Convert the accepted offer and inspect the reserved milestone billing source.
Acceptance does not charge a card or send an invoice automatically.
Open this workflow →Delivery and changes
- Open a seeded project and publish a deliverable version.
- Review the version as its client, with a comment or requested change.
- Publish a revision and inspect the retained decision history.
Deliverable files and discussions remain company and project scoped.
Open this workflow →Time and billing
- Record time against an assigned project.
- Review it as a manager.
- Create a time-billing draft as finance and verify the source is reserved against duplicate billing.
Submitted time requires approval. Creating a draft does not collect payment.
Open this workflow →Capacity and recurring projects
- Set team availability and project allocations.
- Inspect the weekly capacity view.
- Create a recurring project template and generate one scheduled occurrence.
Generation is idempotent and pauses when its source modules are disabled.
Open this workflow →Accounting controls
- Inspect account mappings and source postings.
- Post a draft document and verify debit and credit totals.
- Run period checks, then close a reconciled period.
Closed dates reject supported postings. The legacy ledger uses the company accounting currency.
Open this workflow →Approvals and employee expenses
- Submit a receipt or a documented missing-receipt exception.
- Approve first as manager and then as a different finance reviewer.
- Post the employee payable, then record a completed external reimbursement.
No self-approval, no repeated reviewer across stages and no duplicate reimbursement. Policy versions are frozen at submission.
Open this workflow →Invoice collection
- Inspect customer invoice balances and collection setup.
- Open the client invoice page as the assigned client.
- Review a checkout preview after configuring a Stripe test account.
Provider credentials are required for live checkout. No keys are needed to inspect local invoices.
Open this workflow →Purchasing and receiving
- Create a purchase order for a supplier.
- Record a partial goods receipt and inspect the matched draft bill.
- Review quantity, cost and remaining-order controls.
Inventory and accounting modules are required.
Open this workflow →Inventory, fulfillment and browser POS
- Review opening stock and valuation.
- Reserve and fulfill a sales order, then inspect the movement history.
- Use a local POS sale and repeat its request key to verify no duplicate sale.
Hardware integration and offline POS remain deferred.
Open this workflow →People, leave and offboarding
- Complete an assigned onboarding step and submit a workplace request.
- Request leave and inspect the balance and review outcome.
- Prepare an offboarding handover and review each completion step.
Legacy monthly payroll rejects unreviewed partial-month proration.
Open this workflow →Global payroll
- Create a legal employer with country, currency precision, time zone and tax-year start.
- Add a pay group, employment and effective facts; import opening YTD before the first run if needed.
- Enter accountant-reviewed amounts, calculate and inspect the frozen result.
- Submit, approve as another person, finalize, then separately record external employee payment, authority payment and filing evidence.
The available manual-v1 adapter supports records worldwide. It does not calculate statutory taxes, transfer money or file returns. Entity payroll subledger exports require reconciliation with the company ledger.
Open this workflow →Support
- Create a private support request.
- Reply as an authorized teammate and inspect the thread.
- Resolve the ticket and check that a different company cannot open it.
Company membership and ticket access are enforced.
Open this workflow →Recruitment, training and assets
- Open the HR tools in the business system.
- Inspect candidates, interviews, training and employee records.
- Review asset records and the employee offboarding checklist.
Manufacturing, advanced warehouse logistics and native mobile apps remain outside this release.
Open this workflow →Data connections
- Inspect available Google Calendar/Drive connector configuration.
- Use local fixtures when available to review mapped records and conflicts.
- Review a sync run before applying an approved import.
Real sync requires provider credentials and separate consent. Disabling integrations pauses new sync work.
Open this workflow →API, webhooks and MCP
- Create a short-lived token with the smallest scopes needed.
- Use the API explorer on this site to send a same-origin request.
- Inspect the OpenAPI schema and local MCP bridge setup; test a signed webhook against a local receiver.
Tokens are bound to one company and intersect current role permissions. MCP proposals require browser review before controlled writes.
Open this workflow →Company operations and recovery
- Inspect audit events and workspace usage.
- Review export, lifecycle and access controls.
- Use the local backup/recovery tools to inspect an isolated restored copy.
Recovery mode is read-only apart from local authentication. Test accounts and passwords are stored privately, not on public documentation pages.
